Tuesday, October 17:  Monica Caivano will teach  a free class. 5:30 to 6:30 
PM at the University Tango Club.  MEZES  1.120 _Map_ 
(aoldb://mail/write/www.utexas.edu/maps/main/buildings/mez.html)   Mezes  is sandwiched between the 
McCombs bldg. and the giant horse fountain at 21st  & University Ave (it's the 
middle of 3 connected  buildings).

cover, but  please tip the band.
 
Sunday, October 22:  Practica at  Tapestry Dance Company @ 507 Pressler St., 
Austin, TX 78703 (walk in side  entrance, down hallway to Studio B) from 7:00 
PM - 9:00 PM.  $3.00 for  students/$4.00 for tangueros.  First time visitors 
get in free. Practica  does not take the place of professional instruction.  
Participation is for  those with some previous  training.

for La Vida Tango's 4th annual  Posada Milonga in San Antonio, Celebration at 
Kay Kennedy's house 2327 Westrock,  707-6937. Bring your Day of the Dead 
refreshments, wear black if you like,  
photos of departed loved ones for an altar, DJ  music.
 
Saturday, November 11:  Milonga  at Deena and Denis Kohl's. 8706 Mountain

November 22-26: Learn to Dance  Austin hosts the 8th Fandango de Tango.  This 
year's  teachers will be Fabian Salas y Carolina del Rivero, Guilllermo Merlo 
y  Fernanda Ghi, Alex Krebs y Luciana Valle, Nito y Elba Garcia, and Pablo 
Pugliese y Noel Strazza   Event will be  held at the Omni Austin Hotel at
