[Tango-announce] Tango OPS for week of 03/19/07

We learned this week that Ricardo Moncada will stop  teaching and close his 
dance studio (Learn to Dance Austin) at the end of this  month.  We wanted to 
take a moment  to thank Ricardo for everything that he has done for the Austin 
tango  community.  

Ricardo was the first instructor to teach Argentine tango  here in Austin. He 
continuously worked to improve his knowledge of tango and,  most importantly, 
he searched out the very best instructors to bring to Austin.  Because of 
Ricardo, many of us took our first workshops with Esther and  Pablo Pugliese, 
with Luciana Valle, or one of the other great teachers he  brought to Austin.  

Ricardo has helped form our community into the friendly,  cohesive group we 
are today.  We  have this unique, caring attitude because of his influence.  
Thank you Ricardo for everything you  have given us.  We miss you!
