  Friday, October 31: Halloween Party at Ruta Maya: The Just Desserts invite you to come dance "tango etc." at their "Love or Die" World Music Masquerade and Art Ball." It will be a CD release party for their new tango-centric CD "Love or Die", and the night will also feature a performance by the highly ecstatic Middle Eastern groove band Atash (www.atash.com<about:blank>). The Just Desserts will be a trio that evening, featuring Lauren Checchio of 1001 Nights Orchestra on percussion.
