Tango Books For Sale: "Tango Friends" by Gabriele Brown (photographs of the Austin's tango community by Gabriele Brown) only 5 books left, each book cost about $50.00 to print (this is my cost so I am not making any money on them). To purchase one please contact Gabriele at gabib at austin.rr.com<mailto:gabib at austin.rr.com>

Some Reading Material: Here's a new reading item I've heard about from a Texas Historian friend. A book that examines Argentine National character through Tango; a Texan author Brian Winter "Long After Midnight at Nino Bien: A Yanqui's Missteps in Argentina" is the title. Entertaining, charming, insightful and outrageous, it is a book you will not be able to put down. It is a deft blend of history, memoir and unabashed love for a country and the dance that epitomizes it. Winter's narrative is intoxicating and nothing less than a look into the very soul of Argentina.
